My 2 Year Old Son Loves It December 31, 2009 S. Wells (Pace, FL) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought this for our 2 year old son for Christmas and he has used it everyday since. He had a bounce house for his birthday party in October and had started bouncing on everything. He loves to bounce while he watches TV. It is great for rainy days when you can't go outside to burn off that extra toddler energy. It was also pretty easy for my husband and I to put together took about 30 minutes.
Great so far; great customer service June 28, 2010 J. Pinto (Wayne, NJ) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got my trampoline in late March and within 3 weeks the mat tore on the side where the bungee cord goes through. I called customer service asking to buy a replacement mat and they had me send the whole trampoline back to them and they sent me a new one a few months later when it was back in stock. So far, there has been no tear and my son loves it (had it for 3 weeks now). He jumps on it at least once a day for five minutes to get his energy out. It's nice if you have the room for it and the legs fold under to easier storage (also the handle can come out). Set up was fine. I did it by myself and it took about 15 minutes from start to finish. When threading the bungee cord, keep the mat as centered as possible while you finish or one end will be closer to the side than the other. I put a bean bag in front of the trampoline because it is possible for your child to jump too high and almost flip over the top. It hasn't happened yet, but it has come close to happening. I'd recommend this toy to anyone. And, if you have any problems, don't hesitate to call customer service.
amazing toys but assembly is tough December 23, 2009 M. Pacheco (massachusetts) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this as a christmas present for our autistic 2 and half year old son and he loves it. He can jump for hours and not only does it support his weight but his twin sister's as well thought their both on the small side. But warning assembly is complicated and can be dangerous, you have to pull a bungee cord through and tie it and it can fly back and hurt. You'll definatly need 2 people. My advise is if your buying it for a gift assemble it ahead of time cuz it can take a while. Amazing toy though.
Enjoyable Toy for Active Toddler August 9, 2010 C. Bintner (St.Paul, Mn USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I decided to buy this toy for my two year old son so that he would have an active outlet for his energy on rain days and in the winter (we live in Minnesota so sometimes it is just too cold to go out). Set up of the trampoline only took about 15 minutes but I do highly recommend having two people do the set up. It is much easier to thread the bungee tight and even with two sets of hands.
Once the toy was set up my son immediately started jumping on it. He enjoys the bouncing and it does give him a work out. Honestly he also enjoys just laying on the thing with some books or hiding under it like a fort. I'm giving this 4 stars for a few reasons. First, even though my son is very active, this toy doesn't hold his interest for terribly long. I'm not expecting a toy to work miracles with a toddler's short attention span, but he doesn't play with this for more than 5 minutes at a time and I was expecting more than that. The other issue I have is that sometimes I feel like the back of the trampoline lifts up a bit. My son is about 31 pounds so he is far below the weight limit, but bouncing near the front of the jumper makes the back not as stable as I would prefer. We've stabilized it as best we can, but I wish it was just a little more sturdy. Overall, this was a good purchase, especially for the price.
Buy an extra bungee cord March 29, 2010 J. Severson (Minneapolis, MN) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 3 1/2 and 20 month old LOVE this! They bounce everyday and both are well within the weight limit. The bungee (cord that holds the net to the frame) broke the first month. My husband managed to tie it back together and we have since had to tie it 3 times - bungee broke in 4 different spots total. We have run out of length to tie it this last time. My kids are heartbroken and we've only had this for 3 months! Great toy, but will break quickly...
Apparently, a new bungee is $50! Deciding if $50 is worth 3 more months....
