Safe Sanctioned Jumping for the Kids June 7, 2010 Jude (Sanbornton, NH USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this trampoline for my son's 3rd birthday and it has been a big hit! He was always trying to jump on the furniture and on the beds which made me nervous. Now, he can do all the jumping he wants while holding on to something! He and his five year old sister love it! They accepted the ground rules immediately - one at a time - and are very good at taking turns with this toy! I read all of the reviews before purchasing and was nervous about how difficult it would be to put together but, the instructions were clear and it really wasn't difficult, just time consuming. It took me and my husband two hours. The trampoline is nicely engineered with rounded edges and no sharp parts. I should note that my 3 year old is a very enthusiastic jumper and often jumps so high while holding on to the handle bars that he looks like he will go over them! Occasionally a back leg lifts off of our less than level floor and I worry that the whole thing will tip over so my husband and I are looking at ways to fasten the back legs to the floor. But the trampoline takes that abuse and more and never has tipped over. I have always been nervous about trampolines and wouldn't buy a larger one because they are so unsafe but, if you have a jumper like we do and need a place to make jumping safe and fun, I would definitely recommend this product!
Jumpin Fun! June 15, 2010 Amanda (NC) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We bought this for our daughter's 2nd birthday. We didn't get it together in time for the party and that was probably a good thing because every kid at the party would have wanted to get on it. I would recommend you have an extra set of hands to put this thing together. Especially the bungee part. We get so much entertainment from watching our 2 year old jump. She knows just what to do with the sounds and holds the handle bars. It is bulky and hard to stash out of the way but anyone with kids knows most toys are never really out of the way. Don't let the 3 year age deter you from buying. Our 2 year old loves it and it's been money well spent since she loves it so much.
Love it. Love it. Love it. May 27, 2010 Jahanara (My Place, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The pros: I bought this for my rambunctious 3 year old son who has energy to spare and he absolutely loves this thing. After I put it together (see cons below), he was so thrilled and excited and even jumped on it without playing the games. His favorite mode on here is the one that lets you choose an animal sound and every time you jump it makes the noise. But he'll jump without all that extra stuff. I like the fact that this thing has safety bars on it for him to hold on to and focus versus just free jumping, since he's not quite ready for our big outdoor trampoline yet. Yes, you can control the volume, if all the racket gets to you, but the sound of my son laughing is worth it to hear all the extra stuff.
The cons: well, there's only one - the assembly. I put this thing together on my own and it took me about 3 hours. You need a philips screwdriver for a couple screws but a mini-wrench type thing comes with it for all the other bolts. Locking the frame together was not a big deal, the bungee cord was a pain to attach, but I prevailed. If I had an extra set of hands it could have probably taken half the time. It's a challenge, but so worth it.
Enjoy!
Best Toy Ever! June 14, 2010 Jett's Mommy (Okc, OK, USA) I bought this trampoline for my 2 1/2 year old son. While it was somewhat difficult and time-consuming to assemble, it was well worth it. Probably the most consistently used toy in our home. Seems very safe and sturdy, and the music and counting mechanism on ours works perfectly. Son has mild sensory issues and this is great therapy for that as well. Couldn't be more pleased!
Jumping for Joy June 14, 2010 Grandma I origninally purchased the JumpSmart Trampoline for my granddaughter who has had it for 2 years and still uses it and loves it. So, now when my grandson's second birthday rolled around, I knew it was a wise choice. Kids love it! It is safe because they hold onto the handlebars. It helps them learn to count while they get great exercise.
Jump Smart is very durable. It doesn't take up much space and is always a favorite of the toddler group, or anyone under 80 pounds.
Assembly is not difficult but does take a half hour or more, and is easier if you have your own tools as the wrench provided is not the best; although it is functional if you have nothing else.
I highly recommend this product.
